Creed Foodservice, the Cheltenham and Ilkeston based food wholesaler, has won a major national account to supply Out of Town Restaurant Group, which operates branded shopping mall units throughout the UK.
Managing Director Chris Creed says: “This contract is worth more than £2 million a year to us and is initially for one year. It is a testament to the investment and development we have carried out over the past 18 months that we are now winning major national accounts. Out of Town compliments our existing National Account portfolio whilst enabling us to retain our focus on our valuable regional independent business.”
Out of Town Leisure Group is the UK’s leading retail catering specialist and operates sites around the country from Bluewater in Kent to MeadowHall in Sheffield.
Andrea Harrison, Commercial Director, said: “We began trading with Creed Foodservice in Q3 2009. In the build-up process the team at Creed has been incredibly detailed and efficient with their planning which has led to an impressively smooth roll-out.”
Creed is now making daily deliveries of fresh meat, produce, ambient foodstuffs and catering essentials to all Out of Town facilities from its Cheltenham and Ilkeston depots. The Ilkeston depot was added in 2008 and is seen as a critical factor in winning major national accounts
